Today was the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party and Ron Paul supporters celebrated by congregating in Santa Monica, California (among other places worldwide).

This Sunday, contributors donated $6 million-plus to Ron Paul’s campaign site. During this 24-hour period, these "revolutionists" graciously broke the record—for the most money raised—by a national candidate in a single day.

The GOP candidate has been overlooked by the media, and commonly mentioned as an unlikely Presidential Candidate. His supporters disagree. They have strongly demonstrated support to his ideas upon foreign policy, and his economic views of a monetary system.

With intentions of raising awareness to Dr. Paul's issues, over 500 gathered at Reed Park in Santa Monica and marched through 3rd Street Promenade to the pier. During the movement, one said unto me, “Dr. Paul has cured my apathy to politics.”

Today, Sam Flores invited me to his most recent exhibition entitled "Kid n' Play."

Flores, who resides in San Francisco, is a worldwide-recognized urban artist. Other than his original paintings, his works have appeared in popular clothing lines, skate, and snowboard designs. His artistic style can be described as fine art, which has also been heavily influenced by his graffiti background.

Kid n' Play is a new idea by Flores, incorporating his unique style to create one-of-a-kind playrooms for children.

This Saturday was the premier of Kid n' Play at 101 Gallery in Culver City, California. At the 101 Gallery, Flores showed his designs of toys, furniture, and murals while spending the majority of the afternoon signing autographs.

Today I visited the Los Angeles Denim Care in Vernon, California. While at the factory I stopped workers during their duties and took candid portraits to illustrate their work day.

Today I photographed for Dan Dobi, the director of 'A Day To Remember's' music video for Victory Records. I captured still images for Dan Dobi and experienced first hand the production of one of his renowned music videos. Today was a great experience for myself in the field of set photography and I look forward to working with Dan Dobi in the immediate future.

Today my photography was included in a Creative Minds art exhibition in San Francisco, California. I enjoyed having my photojournalism shown and speaking with people and explaining the stories behind the images. I would like to thank Nick Santoro for having me!

Today I traveled south of Tijuana, Mexico to Olivos Cemetery so I could document The Day of the Dead. It was difficult to communicate with the individuals I encountered because I know very little Spanish.

On my caption pad I wrote, “Me llamo Perry. Su nombre por favor. Fotoperiodisto.” This phrase translates to English as, “My name is Perry. Your name please. Photojournalist." I used the text as my only way to explain why I was there and so I could receive names for my captions.

Many assumed that my intentions were to sell them photographs as memorabilia but I insisted that I was only there to document the day. Throughout the day, I took many photographs, collected numerous email addresses, and returned home with a different opinion of Tijuana, Mexico.

Throughout the past year, I have contributed my photography to three movies and a commercial for students at Brooks Institute of Photography. I have assisted many film students by documenting production and set design. I enjoy set photography and I am looking forward to being apart of more projects in the near future.

“Firemount, is a thesis project for the film school Brooks Institute of Photography. The story involves a man whose arm is consumed by a poison, and in the search for a cure, he finds it through his worst enemy. It was an ambitious student film, but the people working on it created a superb film that will soon head to festivals all around the world. It will also be used to promoted the feature script now in development.”
